Joshimath: Joshimath or the Jyotirmath is the hill town at the 6150 m in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Adi Guru Sankaracharya built it in the 8th century. It is winter home of Lord Badri where the Idol of lord Badri gets shifted from Badrinath.

Rudraprayag: At the confluence of river Alaknanda and river Mandakini, the Rudraprayag is highly famous among Hindus. This place looks amazingly beautiful and is the gateway to the Badrinath and Kedarnath.

Rudraprayag Weather: Very hot summer season with the temperature ranging between 35 to 40 degree Celsius, and therefore not preferred time to have the visit. However, during the winter the weather remains pleasant during the day times, and therefore, best for having the tour. During night times in winter season, the temperature may lie between 5 to 20 degree Celsius, and therefore, you may feel the severe cold.

Early morning after breakfast, proceed to Shri Badrinath Ji. On arrival at Badrinath Ji, yatri’s can have a bath in the Tapt Kund and proceed to Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening. Brahamakapal is noteworthy for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There is other stimulating attractions like Mana Village, said to be the last village of our country, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. All these places are surrounded within 3 Kms of Badrinath Ji. Later proceed to Rudraprayag/Srinagar via Joshimath. Visit Narsing Temple, winter of adobe of Badrinath Ji at Joshimath. Badrinath: Near the Alakhnanda river, this highly auspicious temple belongs to Lord Vishnu. it is one of the Char Dham, and therefore, the place of utmost importance in Hinduism. This temple is at a height of 10,279 feet. The lofty snow-clad Himalaya that surrounds this Dham, makes it look amazingly beautiful. It was Adi Sankaracharya who established it. The Badrinath temple has a Tapt Kund, which is highly auspicious and has some unbelievable medicinal properties. The Alakhnanda river originates from here. It is placed between the mountain ranges of Nar and Narayana.

Tapt Kund: Situated on the bank of the river Alakhnanda, and near the Badrinarayan temple, the Tapt Kund is actually the Sulphur Kund. As per belief, it’s actually the Agni Dev himself who got this form because of getting the boon from Lord Vishnu.

Mana Village: Mana Village the perfect place for trekking, is the last village of India. This beautiful village is very nearer to the Badrinath, and therefore, a must-visit place during your visit to the Badrinath.
