From Rishikesh, there are regular buses and shared jeeps going till Uttarkashi. From Uttarkashi, you can again take a bus or shared jeep till Hanuman Chatti which is the starting point for the trek.The trek from Hanuman Chatti to Yamunotri is around 13 km.
