Itinerary: Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Package from Kathmandu

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu

Arrive at Kathmandu; our representative will meet you at the airport. Get assistance for transfer and escort to the hotel. Check in and relax. After the darshan of the Pashupatinath temple, the programme briefing will be done in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu – Nepalgunj

The morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch a flight for Nepalgunj. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

Day : 3 NepalGunj- Simikot

Early morning after breakfast, flight to Simikot (45 minutes); rest for acclimatising to the high altitude at Simikot. Nature walk at the hillside. Evening at leisure.

Day: 4 Simikot – Taklakot

After breakfast, board the Helicopter and fly to Hilsa (Nepali border). 20-minute helicopter flight & pickupat the Shera border (walk 10 minutes), cross the border, and enter Tibet. Meet our Tibetan and Nepali crew and drive to Taklakot (3900 m), 30 km, overnight at the guesthouse.

Day 5: Taklakot-Mansarovar (78 Kms)

Morning drive of 78 km to Holy Lake Manasarovar (4500 m), and the rest of the day is free for spiritual activities, such as the abode of god, which will be a lifetime achievement. Pooja, Havana worship, meditation, holy bath, etc. Overnight stay at a Lodge at the shore of Lake Manasarovar

Day 6: Mansarovar To Darchen

After breakfast drives an hour to Darchen, the base camp of Holy Mt Kailash. The rest of the day is free for acclimatisation and preparing for the circuit (Parikarma).

Day 7: Darchen To Diraphuk (4890 M) – 18 Kms

Drive for 10 km to Tarboche (yam dhwar), and trek up for about 04/05 hours to Diraphuk (4890 m) to reach Parikarma/Cora. Overnight stays at the guesthouse.

Day 8: Diraphuk To Zhulthulphuk (4790 m) – 22 Km

Parikarma continues. This is the day every pilgrim talks about, the most difficult journey throughout the trip: trekking up to Dolma La pass (5600 m). We will offer very short prayers at Dolmala and move towards Gaurikunda.

Day 9: Zhulthuphuk – Taklakot

After breakfast, we will trek around 13 km. We will be reaching the point where our jeeps will be waiting to drive us to Darchen, where Parikarma ends. After lunch, we will drive to Taklakot via Manasarovar Parikrama (circuit).

Day: 10 Taklakot – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu

After breakfast, transfer to Hilsa by road. On reaching the board, get on the helicopter and fly to Simikot as soon as possible and get the connecting flight to Nepal Gunj. Later fly to Kathmandu. Dinner & overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day: 11 Drop at Kathmandu Airport
