Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Day: 1 Delhi – Shimla
Upon arrival at Delhi Airport / Railway Station, meet and greet service by our representative. Get transferred to vehicle and proceed to towards Shimla, which takes around 7 – 8 hrs of travel. On arrival, check-in to the hotel at Shimla for an overnight stay.
Day: 2 Shimla – Kalpa
On the second day, drive to Kalpa which is 290 km away from Shimla, via Kufri, Narkanda, Rampura, and dense forest to reach Kalpa. In this season time, the fragrance of Apples is enticing and attractive. It is said to be the home to of some the best apple and chilgoza orchards in the world. Kalpa is so beautiful in the season and its panoramic view is awesome. Dinner and overnight stay at Kalpa.
Day: 3 Kalpa – Lamber
Today is the day of The Charang Trek/Kinner Kailash Parikrama, we drive to Thangi 2966 m which is a 65kms and 3hr journey from Kalpa. This place is the starting point of the Trek/Parikrama. Trek to Lamber 2896m in the Northeast direction ascending the height following the stream. Once reached overnight stay will be in Lamber.
Day: 4 Lamber – Charang
Morning moves further to the next destination i.e. Charang. It takes 4 hours of trekking/Parikrama to reach Charang. The parikrama route covered with beautiful streams and natural forests.
Day: 5 Charang – Lalanti
Today will begin the uphill trek in Charang valley which takes 6-7 hours to cover 8 Kms. Lalanti has attractive meadows with thousands of high-altitude flowers. There is a red, yellow & white huge spread carpet of flowers under the blue sky with the roaring sound of Mountain and Rivers, which really adds to the scenic beauty for the overall experience. On reached stay will be Lalanti near to stream.
Day: 6 Lalanti – Chitkul
Today is the most stimulating and tough day for the trekkers as, during the trek, approximately 30 km will be covered which will take nearly (12 -14 hours). On the way, cross the beautiful Charang Pass before arriving at Chitkul. This huge meadow is home to ibex and even snow leopards in the winters. Overnight stay in the camps at Chitkul.
Day: 7 Chitkul
Spent the whole day enjoying the spectacular and picturesque sights around the Chitkul village, after a long trek. It is at an altitude of 3500 meters in height. It is the uppermost and the last village of the Sangla Valley. You will get the showcase of Tibetan influence in the jewelry they wear and as well as in the looks of the people. Chitkul is packed with distinctive and spectacular sights. In Chitkul, there are three Goddess Mathi’s temples. The earlier temples situated here are believed to be built about five hundred years ago.
Day: 8 Chitkul – Shimla
Morning, leave from Chitkul village and proceed towards Shimla. It takes around 8-9 hrs of drive. On arrival, get checked in to the hotel and refresh yourself. Evening visits the Mall road for shopping and spent time in leisure. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day: 9 Shimla – Delhi
Morning leaves the hotel at Shimla and proceeds towards Delhi. On arrival, get dropped at Delhi Airport / Railway Station for onwards journey.
