Manimahesh is the abode of Lord Shiva. It's in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh at a pristine height of 4,190m amidst the Himalayas. The name Mani Mahesh signifies the rare sight of Mani (a jewel) on Mahesh’s (Lord Shiva) crown. When the moon's rays reflect from it on a clear, full moon night. Another rare event is when the first rays of the sun fall on the peak of Kailash hill. Which appear as saffron tilak as seen in its reflection in the lake.
The Manimahesh yatra provides a heavenly experience of the majestic Kailash range and pristine waterfalls all through the way. Devotees consider this yatra as one of the toughest pilgrimages in India. When devotees reach there the reward of seeing the sight of the most beautiful lakein the backdrop of the snow-laden mountains is magnificent . The Manimahesh yatra is held at the lake in the months of August and September each year as it is believed to be the occasion both Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati bathe in the lake. At one side of the Manimahesh lake is a marble idol of Lord Shiva. Pilgrims take a dip in the holy water, worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati here. Then go around the circumference of the lake three times.
Manimahesh Yatra Package by Helicopter
This yatra purifies one’s soul and body, as the spiritual aura of the peak surrounds and engulfs one in its entirety. About one and half kms short of Manimahesh lake fall two holy water bodies - Gauri Kund and Shiva Krotri.One must visit Brahmani Mata Temple before visiting Manimahesh. According to legends, Lord Shiva granted a boon to Brahmani Devi that devotees much pay obeisance at Brahmani Mata Temple and take a dip in their holy pool, before Manimahesh.
Itinerary
Day 01: Pathankot – Bharmour (170 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs)
Meet our driver at Pathankot pickup and transfer to Bharmour, Onarrival at Bharmour check in at homestay/standard hotel in Bharmour. Relax and later in the evening a short trek to Bharmani Temple (1 Hour one way). Bharmani temple is situated at the ridge and is 03 km trek from Bharmour. In evening return back to homestay.
Day 02: Bharmour – Hadsar – Manimahesh Lake – Gaurikund
In the morning after breakfast, drive up to Hardsar and then further trek to Dancho. We will stop here for lunch. Later trek up to Manimahesh. The total trek is about 13 Kms which will take entire day. In the evening we will reach at Manimahesh lake from where we will have clear darshan of Manimahesh peak. Lake is located at the height of 3950 Meters. Overnight stay at camp in Gaurikund.
Day 03: Gaurikund – Hadsar – Bharmour
Today we will have our breakfast at our camping site and trek back to Hadsar following same route. Reaching Hadsar in the evening, we will take a taxi back to Bharmour. On arrival check in at same hotel/homestay.
Day 04: Bharmour – Pathankot
After breakfast, Transfer to Pathankot Railway Station/Airport, it’s time to say good bye to Kailash Manimahesh with a promise to come back again!

Helicopter Charges: 8,500/- per person (full charges apply on child)
Payment:-50 % advance and balance at the before 7 days’ time of trip start
Note: 50% advance payment for booking & 50% remaining balance pay on arrival (before reach hotel)
Kindly Note: – Trekker has to carry his own backpack. If someone wants porters, they may book with us in advance on an additional charges INR 1000 per day.

What to bring: – It is advised that the participant should bring along the following equipment only other than wearing cloths. Heavy wind chit, Jacket and should be water proof. Trekking sui & Cap. Goggle, Sun Glasses (Most required Item). Sun stroke cream. A pair of warm socks, trekking shoe, torch, umbrella, light weight raincoat, personal medicine & warm inners.
Cancellation Policy: –
A) No refund if tour cancelled due to bad weather condition or things which are not in our hand.
B) 50% refund if you would like to cancel your tour 1 month before starting date.
